Naked Ape Consulting: My Interests

Me!Me!Me!

Friends of Mine

Most of my friends have better web sites than I do.

Beer

One thing I really like is beer. Here are some beer links:

Humor

  • The Onion, one of the best satirical sites on the Net.
  • I am not sure if the Weekly World News is really satire that has managed to worm its way into the mainstream or what. But it's funny.
  • Penny Arcade is often funny, except when I don't get the gamer jokes.
  • SinFest amuses me. Like most readers, I hope with every issue Slick and Monica will hookup.
  • User Friendly, a daily comic that's used to be funny. I stopped reading it for some reason.
  • Segfault.org, funny only to the most hardcore geeks, and only those with bizarre senses of humor. I don't really read this much any more.
  • The Dilbert Zone; having accepted a lifetime of living and working in the corporate cublical world, I like Dilbert.
  • This is one of my favorites, since I'm a UNIX user. (I'm surprised I haven't gotten a Cease & Desist order.)
  • Religion

Humor is really the only appropriate section for religion.

Music

Another thing I like is music. Hey, who doesn't?
  • Bob Dylan No, not his homepage, but it does have a discography and lyrics.
  • Adam Brodsky, crazy Jewish antifolk.

Books

Here are some books I am reading and would like to read, and some links to book-related websites.
  • The Mathematical Method, by Murray Eisenberg
  • A History of Western Philosophy, by Bertrand Russell (Lord Russell is one of my favorite authors.)
  • The Professor and The Madman, by Simon Winchester
  • Powell's Books, one of the largest bookstores in the world, local to my current home, Portland, Oregon.
