I've been playing around with running Linux on

Hercules, an IBM mainframe emulator. I might get around to playing with MVS, but the MVS-on-Hercules community seems rather closed. I've found a DASD image of Debian at

http://people.debian.org/~mdz/hercules/. I'm not too crazy about Debian, but it's the only image I've found and I clearly don't have the resources to install on a real z/Series and make the DASD image myself. Here's the CPU info:
